Member-only areas

I can’t access some areas of the OD Network website.
Many areas are restricted to OD Network members who are logged in including most of our publications, the toolkits, the Member Roster, and the Job Exchange. If you can’t access these areas, either you’re not a current member or you haven’t logged in. Try logging in; if you can’t, perhaps your membership has expired and it’s time to renew.

How do I log in?
You can log in to the Member Area of the OD Network website and access member-only sections only if you are a member of OD Network. If you’re not a member, join today. If you are a member, click the Member Login box on any page (including this one) near the top right. If you don’t see Member Login, you’re already logged in.

How do I change my username or password?
Log in using your old username and password and go to My Profile. (Check the rest of your contact information while you’re there to make sure it is still accurate.) You’ll have to enter both your old password and your new password (twice) for security.

I forgot my password.
Go to the Reset my password page and fill in your email address. Instructions will be sent to the email address associated with your profile. If you don’t see that email within a few minutes, most likely the email address we have for you is wrong. In that case, contact the membership associate by email or phone 973 763 7337.

How do I change the information in my online Member Roster listing?
Log in and go to My Profile. Change whatever you need to, and be sure to click the Submit button. Your information is automatically updated.

I can’t download an OD Practitioner article.
First of all, make sure you’re logged in—only logged-in members can download OD Practitioner articles. Next, be sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer; download it at www.adobe.com. Please note that only recent articles are available for download; for articles published before 2003, purchase a hard copy of the issue in which that article appears in our online store or visit your local academic library. If all of those things are taken care of and you still can’t download the article, email us with the name and date of the article you’re trying to download.

Job Exchange

How can I search for a job on the OD Network Job Exchange?
If you’re a member of OD Network, just log in and then choose Job Exchange—it’s a free member benefit. If you’re not a member, you may purchase a subscription to Job Exchange for 3, 6, or 12 months.

How can I advertise an open position on the OD Network Job Exchange?
The Job Exchange page explains it all. You’ll need to create an employer account, which is separate from your job seeker account if you have one. OD Network members get a discount on job postings.

Email discussions

How can I participate in email discussions?
Go to the email discussion list page and sign up for the discussions in which you would like to participate. Each discussion requires a separate sign up, but once you have signed up for multiple discussions, you can manage most of your user options for all of the discussions at once.

Do I have to be a member of OD Network to participate in email discussions?
No! These forums for exchanging ideas on OD theory and practices are free and open to the public. The discussions do have rules about what kinds of topics are appropriate and what formats to use.

Can I use my OD Network username and password to participate in email discussions?
You can use your OD Network username and password to participate — in fact, we recommend that you do — but you must sign up for, and log in to, each discussion separately. Being logged in as an OD Network member does not automatically give you access to the email discussions.

Online learning programs

How do I sign up for an OD Network online learning program?
Each series or session on the OD Network online learning page has a convenient link to our online learning portal. You must create a separate account and login for the online learning portal; your username will be your email address, and we recommend you use your OD Network password.
